Serofina grew out of a challenge I was experiencing myself.
While completing my PMHNP training at Yale, I've found myself studying psychopharmacology over and over, but still wanting a better way to connect what I'm learning to the decisions I'll eventually make with patients.
I wanted something I could open on my laptop or phone, practice with for a few minutes, and come back to often.
With support from a Hillman Foundation grant, I started building Serofina. What began as a way to study medications has grown into something broader: realistic psychiatric cases that let you practice what to ask, how to reason through a diagnosis and treatment, and the pharmacology behind those decisions.
I'm still learning too, and that remains at the heart of Serofina.
The goal is simple: learn the science. Practice the decision-making.
